Increasing amounts of false invoices during the summer

While the summer time brings a lot of pleasant things, it unfortunately also means an increase of false invoices. The false invoices may contain an invitation to pay fees for renewal or registration of e.g. a patent, trademark or design registration, and it often refers to a particular registration number. If you receive an invoice which causes any uncertainty, we recommend that you contact your usual contact person at Brann before submitting a payment. For more information on false invoices, please refer to the WIPO website. You may also review the Swedish Trade Federation’s black list and see if the invoicing company is featured on it.
