During her law school studies, Aliona worked as a legal assistant within anti-doping field with a company IDTM- Since she started with Brann in 2013 she has been practicing IP law. With great commitment and a never-ending driving force she quickly proved herself and became Junior Partner in 2016 and Partner in 2018.Her broad competence within IP allows her to work with clients from different industries such as construction, infrastructure, industrial technology, retail, mining industry and design.
Aliona is specialized in intellectual property and works especially with trademark, design and copyright related questions. She also advises within the field of marketing law, draft commercial IP agreements and represents clients with Patent and Market Court and Patent and Market Court of Appeals. She handles oppositions and cancellation actions with the EUIPO and Swedish Patent and Trademark Office and provides strategic advice handling large IP portfolios for some of Brann’s biggest clients. She is also experienced in handling trademark strategi, naming and clearing projects as well
Aliona is a doer and is always ready to get involved as volunteer in different projects within IP community. Today she is the team leader of AIPPIs trademark group and volunteers for INTAs bulletin committee. Aliona is a positive force and very generous, with her advice as well as her laughter. She always strives for what’s best for the team and perceptively acts for everyone’s wellbeing.
When she is not dealing with the IP related questions on behalf of clients, Aliona spends her time with her family and family dog, preferably skiing and hiking. Her big interests is horticulture and design.
