Erik Miliander

European Patent Attorney

Erik holds an MSc in Engineering Physics from Uppsala University. In addition to his technical background, he has a Bachelor of Arts in Languages. This combination of scientific knowledge and linguistic expertise allows him to adeptly navigate the complexities of intellectual property across various industries and jurisdictions.

Erik has gained extensive experience in patent law and intellectual property management through his work at the Swedish Intellectual Property Office (PRV), Uppdragshuset, SHL Medical, Sandvik Materials Technology, and Rouse Sweden AB (previously Valea AB). Each of these roles has provided him with insights and an understanding of how different sectors operate, equipping him with strong expertise in patent drafting, prosecution, and strategic IP consulting.

At Brann, Erik helps clients with the drafting of patent applications and patent strategies, ensuring that their innovations are effectively protected and aligned with their business objectives. His collaborative approach fosters strong relationships with clients, allowing him to provide tailored solutions that meet their specific needs.

In his spare time, Erik enjoys being outdoors, especially skiing with his family, and exploring nature.
