Niklas Andersson started working at Brann in 2003 and today he is running our office in Gothenburg. Niklas is very experienced in providing advice in a variety of issues concerning intellectual property, and particularly concerning patents in the field of mechanics.
Niklas works with pre-studies, drafting and prosecuting patent applications in Sweden as well as internationally. He also provides advice concerning infringements, validity and oppositions. He has represented clients in patent matters before the Swedish Patent and Market Court and the Swedish Patent and Market Court of Appeal.
Niklas strive to work in close collaboration with his clients resulting in an active portfolio management in order to make the IP rights into valuable assets for the clients. He is also a very appreciated leader who always takes time to provide advice and answer questions. Niklas is mainly working with large international client portfolios and is quick to acquire knowledge about new technical and legal areas thanks to his responsiveness and analytical abilities.
While not in the office expanding his solid client portfolio, Niklas is the coach for two of his sons’ soccer teams. The summers are spent with the family and labrador Morris in the Swedish archipelago and during winter he prefers downhill skiing.
