Erik holds an M.Sc. in Engineering Physics and a bachelor's degree in languages. His professional experience includes positions at the Swedish Intellectual Property Office (PRV), Uppdragshuset, SHL Medical, Sandvik Materials Technology and Rouse Sweden, formerly Valea AB.

Erik has particular experience in technical fields such as semiconductor electronics, micro- and nanostructures and medical technology, as well as broad experience of patent protection for inventions in areas including mechanics, physics and automotive technology. He has worked with patent strategies and intellectual property protection for inventions across a wide range of technical fields.

Through his various roles, Erik has built broad experience of patent matters and intellectual property advice in government, private practice and industry. His work includes drafting patent applications and developing patent strategies, with a focus on creating effective patent protection that also supports the client's business objectives.
