Mika has worked at Brann since 2016 and previously worked as a patent attorney at another firm and as a patent examiner at the Swedish Intellectual Property Office (PRV). She works primarily with patents but also advises on other areas of intellectual property.

Mika's technical expertise includes, in particular, computer-implemented inventions, signal processing, mechanical inventions and medical technology. She works with both large Swedish and international companies and start-ups in early stages of development and commercialisation.

In her work, Mika places great importance on the client's business value and on understanding the company's objectives, challenges and circumstances. Her work includes developing intellectual property strategies that support the client's commercial objectives, and she also assists with issues arising in connection with business development, technology development and entry into new markets.

Mika aims to provide clear advice tailored to the specific situation on which intellectual property measures are relevant - and when it may be better not to take action.
